The Polk County School Board will hold its next work session at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12, followed by a special board meeting at 11 a.m. The school board will also have a work session at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26, followed by a regular board meeting at 5 p.m. All sessions will take place at the Jim Miles Professional Development Center in Lakeland, 4270 Wallace Road. The meetings will be broadcast live on the PCPS YouTube channel, youtube.com/polkcountypublicschools.
