Lake Wire’s newest luxury apartment complex

Spread the love

Last week we shared the news that eight new apartments are on the docket for the greater Lakeland area, and as of this week, you can add one more to the list.

Tentatively located on Lake Wire, not to be confused with the 22-acre site situated west of Bonnet Springs Park, this new development will live to the east of the park, between George Jenkins Boulevard + North Florida Avenue.

The luxury apartments, located specifically at 315 W. Peachtree St., will take the place of the Lake Wire Retirement Center, as the remnants of the former center face demolition. Charlan Brock Architects is spearheading the project, alongside Fensalir Real Estate Investments and Impact Development Management

Upon completion of the new complex, here’s what you can expect:

The development will be made up of a four-story building, featuring 84 units.
If the current permitting process is successful, construction will break ground sometime in the beginning of 2023 and could take about 16-20 months to complete.
Residents will have a clubhouse, pool, and lakefront views at their disposal.
While much smaller, the development team hopes the property will resemble a small-scale Mirrorton, due to its walkability to Bonnet Springs, Freedom Park, and Swan Brewing.
