Located a short walk from the parking lot, head towards the lake and then veer off to the left to find your hammock haven. This park is the brainchild of Owen Smith, a local Boy Scout working towards his Eagle Scout rank. Owen envisioned a space where visitors could connect with nature in a peaceful and comfortable way, and thanks to his hard work, that vision is now a reality.

So grab your hammock, a good book, and head to MGLP’s Hammock Park. You’ll be thanking Owen for his Eagle Scout project in no time!
